Inmate wanted after apparently walking away from work release in Easton

Todd Lomax, 24

Law enforcement in Maryland are looking for an inmate, who apparently walked away from a pre-release program.

The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services says they are searching for 24-year-old Todd Lomax, who was last seen on Cadmus Lane, in Easton, around 2:00 PM on Sunday. Lomax is an inmate at the Poplar Hill Pre-Release Unit in Quantico, and was on a work release roofing job when he was last seen.

Officials say Lomax is serving a sentence for theft under $1,000. There is now reportedly a warrant out for Lomax’s arrest. Lomax is described as a white man, standing 5′ 9″ tall, weighing 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Lomax’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
