Information sought in incindiary Queen Anne’s Co. vehicle fire investigation

A vehicle fire in Queen Anne’s County, was apparently started by an incendiary device.

The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal says a passerby reported a 2000 Ford F-250 on fire, on Ferrick Road, in Centreville, around 3:20 AM on Wednesday. Four firefighters from the Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company reportedly responded to the scene, and had the flames under control in 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported. Investigators say the blaze started in the passenger compartment, and was caused by incendiary. Damages are estimated to total $9,000.
