Indian River School Dist. CFO placed on leave

The Chief Financial Officer of The Indian River School District has been placed on paid administrative leave.
In a statement issued to 47 ABC Wednesday morning, the school district Superintendent, Susan Bunting, says, “”Effective April 24, 2016, Chief Financial Officer Patrick Miller has been placed on paid administrative leave by the Indian River School District. In Mr. Miller’s absence, the district is receiving assistance from another local school district and will continue to conduct its financial business as usual. State and federal laws protecting the privacy rights of employees prevent the district from commenting further on this issue at this time.”
School district spokesman David Maull says no additional information is being given at this time.
47 Abc has confirmed that Miller worked with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, on their website he is listed as their president.
