Humane Society of Wico. Co. offers up Eden rescue dogs for adoption

Executive Director Aaron T. Balsamo of the Humane Society of Wicomico County announced Tuesday that some of the dogs rescued from a residence in Eden on April 6, will be up for adoption at the facility on Wednesday.

Balsamo says members of the Humane Society of Wicomico County would like to thank the groomers who volunteered to clean up the dogs, as well as veterinarians.

He adds that they are also grateful for the donations received by the community, and the Humane Society has even obtained temporary storage areas for the overflow.

According to Balsamo, Somerset Animal Control, Worcester Animal Control, Last Chance Pet Rescue, First State SPCA, Wags N’ Wishes, the Animal Resource Foundation, Talbot Humane, and Baywater Animal Rescue for assistance, since those organizations either received or will receive some of the rescues.
