Hot Bats Propel Late Comeback Win For Colonels

The Easton Warriors softball team hosted Colonel Richardson Thursday, and Colonel ended up coming back to win it 6-5. 

The Warriors headed to the top of the 7th inning with a 3 run lead and just needed 3 more outs to seal a victory. instead they gave up 4 runs and gave Colonel a 6-5 lead. 

The Warriors were than looking to either tie this game and send it to extras, or manage to score two runs and win in walk-off fashion. They managed to get a runner on third with 2-outs but a pop up would end the game giving Colonel a huge victory. 

The Warriors were supposed to be back in action Friday against Stephen Decatur, but that game will be rescheduled to April 23rd. 

The Colonels will face Cambridge on Monday.
