Gov. Larry Hogan kicks off tour on the Eastern Shore

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan was also on the Eastern Shore Wednesday night., where he kicked off his three-day tour on the Eastern Shore.

Hogan  addressed a crowd of more than 900 people  at the Delmarva Poultry Industry’s Annual Booster Banquet at the Wicomico County civic center. 47 ABC caught up with governor to hear what he thought about Delmarva’s poultry industry.

“I wanted to be here tonight with these 900 folks to let them know how much we appreciate them for what they do every day. It adds a lot to our economy and really provides almost 45, 000 jobs and various other spin-offs industries that could benefit from the poultry industry,” says Gov. Hogan

As for the future, Hogan hopes to see an increase of jobs in the poultry industry and says he aims to make it more easier for farmers to make a living.
