Four arrested following argument in Easton

Four people were arrested in Easton, after an apparent argument, and disobeying police.

Easton Police say on Thursday around 11:25 AM, Officers responded to Jowite Street, for report of a fight. Once on scene, Police say they found 24-year-old Jerry Ham III, and 27-year-old Travel Hayman, both of of Easton, arguing, and advised them to stop, but they continued. At one point, Police say Ham tried to assault Hayman, so he was arrested.

According to the report, it was at this point, that members of Ham’s family arrived, and started arguing with Officers about Ham’s arrest. Police say Hayman then started arguing, and was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Ham’s family members, 49-year-old Theresa Alsup, and 27-year-old Brandon Darrell Rhodes, both of Easton, were reportedly told by Police to stay away from the situation, however they refused to do so, according to Officers, and continued arguing with them, and hindering the investigation, so they were then also arrested.

Investigators say Ham, Hayman, Alsup, and Rhodes were all the taken to Easton Police Department for processing. Ham, Hayman, and Rhodes were all charged with disorderly conduct, and released, while Alsup was charged with disorderly conduct, and failure to obey lawful order, and released as well.
