Erickson dazzles as Cape takes care of Woodbridge

Cape sophomore starting pitcher David Erickson pitched a complete game, allowing just one hit, and striking out 10 as Cape Henlopen shutout Woodbridge 5-0 on Friday afternoon.

Cape’s Drew Mulcahy  finished 2-3 with two doubles, a run and an RBI, Austin Elliott also went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI. Rickangelo Thomas had the lone hit for the Blue Raiders.

Cape is back in action on Saturday, hosting Salesianum at 12 noon, while Woodbridge travels to Smyrna on Tuesday, that game is set for 4:15 pm.
