ERACE THE STIGMA 5K

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the eRace the Stigma 5k is trying to raise awareness on May 14 at Salisbury Bible Fellowship.

director, harlan eagle and lynn sande with details join us to help erase the stigma surrounding mental health treatment. it’s far too common to hear of people who delayed getting the help they need because of the embarrassment in asking for assistance. our mental health is as important as our physical health! help us break down the walls and encourage open communication about mental health. and do something good for your physical health as well! this event is open to runners and walkers. see you there! what you need to know: race date: saturday, may, 14, 2016. rain or shine! 9 am. start, with same-day registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. 5k run or 1 mile walk. flat course through pretty neighborhoods! starts at salisbury bible fellowship, 1500 court plaza, salisbury, md 21801 awards will be given to 1st – 3rd place in male and female categories and 1st place male and females in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. cost: $25 includes event t-shirt. price increases $5 day of event. stay tuned… more news and weather straight ahead.
