Emerald Cashews recalled due to possible glass pieces

A local grocery store chain has announced a recall, after finding out that glass pieces may be in certain Emerald Cashew products.

Giant Food LLC, says they have pulled several Snyder’s-Lance products from their shelves, due to the possible presence of glass pieces, including Emerald Cashew Roasted & Salted Halves & Pieces.

The following products are included in this recall:

• Emerald 100 Calorie Pack, Roasted & Salted Cashew Halves & Pieces, 4.34 oz, UPC 1030033324, Best Before Dates of 12 DEC 16, 13 DEC 16, 18 DEC 16 or 21 DEC 16

Giant says they have not received any reports of illness. Customers who have purchased any of the items listed above, should discard unused portions, and bring their purchase receipt to Giant for a full refund.
