Easton man charged with rape of underage girl

An Easton man is being bars, after Police say he had sex with an underage girl.

Easton Police say on Tuesday, Officers arrested 22-year-old Franjli Mendez-Sanchez, and charged him with rape second degree, sex offense second and third degree, assault second degree, and obscene material distribute.

The charges reportedly stem from an investigation that Police say identified Mendez-Sanchez as having sex with an underage girl. After he was charged, Mendez-Sanchez was then ordered to be held at the Talbot County Detention Center on a temporary containment.

Police clarify that because of the nature of the investigation, no further information can be released.
