Delaware State Police investigating fatal crash north of Dover

Delaware State Police say they’re investigating a fatal accident that occurred around 9:30 Saturday night.

We’re told 44-year-old Edward Hudson of Dover was driving on West Denny’s Road when his car began to veer off of the roadway. Police say Hudson’s car then rotated counter clockwise into another lane and was eventually struck.

Authorities say speed and alcohol may have been contributing factor on his part, based of their initial investigation. We’re told Hudson later succumbed to his injuries at Kent General.

The driver of the other vehicle reportedly sustained minor injuries. This crash is still under investigation.
