CR softball jumps on Dover early for big win

The Caesar Rodney softball team scored 6 runs in the first inning, 5 in the second, and never looked back, defeating Dover 15-0 in five innings.

Lauren Polinski went 2-4 with a three-run inside the park home run, while Mirabella Klebart went 2-3 with a triple in the win. For Dover, Emily Boyles finished 1-1 with a double.

The Riders are back in action on Tuesday, taking on Polytech, while Dover is back in action on Saturday against St. Thomas More.
