Clippers Win 4th Straight, Top Crisfield

The Bennett softball team won their 4th straight game Thursday when they hit the road and topped Crisfield 19-1. The win improve the Clippers to 4-4, while the loss drops the Crabbers to 0-10.

Bennett would get their offense rolling very early on, plating 10 runs in the top of the 1st inning. They offense would get production from everywhere, as the lead continued to grow. Carly Mann would deliver a RBI, while McKayla Williams would find some space in left for a 2 RBI single in the 2nd. The Crabbers never gave up though, and managed to bring their first run home in the 5th after Anabelle Mrohs would steal 3rd, then go home off a wild throw. But the Clippers would be able to close the door from there, as they would hold on for the win.

Crisfield travels to Mardela on Monday, while Bennett travels to Kent Island on Saturday.
