Cause of Caroline Co. Government shed fire under investigation

A fire at a shed owner by Caroline County Government, remains under investigation.

The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal says on Sunday just before 4:25 PM, a neighbor discovered the blaze at the 4′ x 6′ wood framed shed on Interfaith Avenue. Six firefighters from the Federalsburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, and had the flames under control in 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported. Damages are estimated at $200. Investigators say the fire started inside of the wooden shed, near the back of a townhouse. The cause is apparently still under investigation at this time.
