Cambridge teenager charged with possession of firearm after traffic stop

A Cambridge teenager was arrested on gun charges on Friday, during a traffic stop.
Cambridge Police say Officers stopped a vehicle on Park Lane, near High Street for a traffic violation.
During the stop, the Officer says the spoke with the occupants inside the vehicle and found that the front seat passenger, 18-year-old Demetrice Demby, had a handgun on him. Police say the firearm was hidden in Demby’s pants.
Demby was then arrested, and charged with handgun on person, handgun in vehicle, possession of firearm by minor, and straw purchase. He is apparently being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $75,000.00 bond.
