Berlin volunteers pitch-in to clean up

In Berlin, Md. hundreds of people volunteered to help for Clean Up Berlin Day, the kick off for Take Pride in Berlin Week.

As part of clean up day, volunteers helped install benches at Henry Park and clean up trash, clear vines off trees and clean up the rain garden at Stephen Decatur Park.

Volunteers also helped clean up trash and plant flowers at Berlin Falls Park.

As for Take Pride in Berlin Week, residents and businesses are encouraged to show their Berlin pride in whatever way is most meaningful to them.
