Wicomico High School student struck by car in Salisbury

Authorities say a Wicomico High School Student was hit by a car Thursday afternoon.

According to a spokesperson for Salisbury Police, a 16-year-old girl was hit near the school at Route 50 and Main Street. She apparently suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was not hospitalized.

The spokesperson said the pedestrian is at fault, and no roads were shut down when authorities responded.
