Wanted Easton man arrested on vandalism charges

Easton police say on Saturday they arrested 27-year-old, Robert Anthony Campbell, after he allegedly vandalized a car.

We’re told the Easton man led police on a foot chase after authorities were made aware of the situation by a group of people nearby. Police say Campbell had outstanding warrants with other agencies.

Authorities say he was wanted in Talbot County for not appearing in court on burglary and trespassing charges and in Wicomico County for not appearing in court theft charges. In addition, he apparently had two warrants through Carolina County.

Easton police say Campbell was charged with Malicious Destruction of Property Over $1,000.
