UPDATE: Memorial service announced for missing Dover airman

Following the announcement that a missing airman has been declared dead, the the Air Force has released a statement, and announced a memorial service.
On Tuesday, missing Senior Airman Keifer Huhman, of the 436th Communications Squadron was declared deceased, after Officials say they closely reviewed all investigative evidence, and in accordance with current Air Force guidance. He had last been seen on February 7.
On the SrA Keifer Huhman missing Facebook page on Tuesday, Huhman’s father wrote that they believed that the missing airman had fallen off the C&D bridge, into the canal below.
On Thursday, Dover Air Force Base released a statement saying “This decision was made with a heavy heart. Each of us is heartbroken by the loss of our wingman, Keifer,” said Col. Michael Grismer, 436th Airlift Wing commander. “In moments like this, all of Team Dover feels the impact of such tragedy. Our most sincere condolences go out to Kiefer’s family, friends, and teammates here at Team Dover. We also thank all our local authorities for their professionalism,compassion, and tireless efforts in searching for Senior Airman Kiefer Huhman.”
A memorial service has apparently been set up for Friday, March 11, at 3:00 PM at the Dover Air Force Base’s Main Chapel. Officials say that the facts surrounding the incident are still under investigation at this time.
