UPDATE: Laurel couple plus one arrested for Sussex County burglaries

Troopers have arrested three people following an investigation into several burglaries that have happened in Sussex County in 2016.
Delaware State Police say after they announced that they were looking for a Laurel couple, in connection to a burglary at Dads Workwear on Commercial Lane, in Laurel, they got many tips about Kirk Holroyd and Brittany Jefferson’s whereabouts.
On Thursday, Investigators say with the help of the Georgetown Police Department, they searched a home on Central Avenue in Frankford, where they arrested the couple without incident, along with 27-year-old Richard Thomas, who lived at the house, for his involvement in the burglaries.
Thirty one-year-old Holroyd was wanted on a slew of offenses, including burglary third degree, possession of burglary tools, theft over $1,500, conspiracy second degree, and criminal mischief. The charges stem from a January 20 incident, where Police allege that Holroyd broke into Dads Workwear on Commercial Lane, in Laurel, and stole various clothing items, before leaving the scene. Police say they believe that 22-year-old Jeffrerson, and Thomas were both also there during the incident, parked outside the business in a vehicle. Holroyd also is apparently wanted for three counts of violation of probation.
Detectives say they were also able to link Holroyd and Thomas to several burglaries that happened back in February, in the Forest Landing Development off Central Avenue, close to Thomas’ house. Police say the two would go into homes under construction by Ryan Homes and take the installed appliances, often damaging the cabinetry and flooring in the process. They would then apparently sell the appliances for cash. In all, Troopers say stolen goods, and damages totaled more than $10,000.
Police say after they linked Holroyd to those incidents, he was additionally charged with six counts of burglary third degree, six counts of conspiracy second degree, six counts of theft, three counts of criminal mischief, and possession of burglar tools. He was then ordered to be held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $39,750 bond.
Jefferson was charged with burglary third degree, possession of burglary tools, theft, conspiracy second degree, and criminal mischief. She was given an unsecured bond for her charges, but had to be held at the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $200 cash bond for her capias.
After his arrest, Thomas was charged with seven counts of burglary third degree, seven counts of conspiracy second degree, seven counts of theft, five counts of criminal mischief, and two counts of possession of burglar tools. He was later released on a $31,750 unsecured bond.
