UPDATE: Construction worker dies after falling from building

(AP) – A construction worker had died after falling from the fourth floor of an Ocean City building.

Ocean City police spokeswoman Lindsay Richard tells news outlets that emergency personnel responded to the scene Monday morning. Upon arrival, crews confirmed that the individual had died.

The name of the 38-year-old construction worker has not been released as police notify next of kin.

Police have ruled the fall accidental.

The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident.
