Two Milford men charged in heroin drug bust

Police in Milford say two men have been charged with drug related offenses stemming from a drug bust last month.

According to Milford Police, 24-year-old Cameron Connelly and Raheem Williams both of Milford were taken into custody February 21, after an incident on South Washington Street. Police say they found 37 bags of heroin in the possession of both Connelly and Williams.

Reportedly when police attempted to take Connelly into custody he refused to obey police commands and physically resisted. After a brief struggle, officers were reportedly able to take him into custody. Connelly has been charged with possession of a controlled substance/ heroin, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. Connelly was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $2,200 secured bond.

Williams was reportedly taken into custody without incident. He has been charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams was also arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $10,200 secured bond.
