Two bald eagles released, as death investigation of others continue in Dagsboro

Officials with the Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research announced today, that two of the bald eagles, that were found injured earlier this month, have been released back into the wild.

Officials tells 47 ABC, that the first bird was released last week, and the second was released on Monday. 

According to records, both were found to be lethargic and disoriented. Along with these two, five other bird were found dead on the scene or died during the rescue process.

As of now, only one eagle remains at Tri-State,  in stable condition, with its rehabilitation continuing. 

At this time, officials aren’t commenting on what may have caused the deaths of those five bird, and their remains were sent to Oregon for testing.

The investigation is continued as ongoing, this comes after a dozen dead bald eagles earlier this month were found in Federalsburg, Maryland.
