Two arrested in reported stolen car in Queen Anne’s Co.

Law enforcement in Queen Anne’s County says they believe that they are closer to solving several cases, after two people were arrested in a stolen car, on Tuesday.
The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff says a car was reported stolen on Tuesday morning, that was then seen on Main Street in Grasonville. The car was apparently pulled over, and two people arrested.
Investigators say it was evident from items inside of the vehicle, that the two people had been “car shopping,” or stealing from vehicles. There was reportedly suspected marijuana and heroin in the car.
During interviews with Detectives, Officials say the two were implicated in other crimes in the area, over past months. The Office of the Sheriff says they even recovered more stolen items on Tuesday, and again on Wednesday, following a search on a home in Stevensville. Officials say at this time, the investigation is open and active, and that they will release more information after following up on the new leads.
