Traffic stop leads to brief police chase in Sussex Co.

A brief police chase in Millsboro Monday morning, was discontinued for safety reasons, says Millsboro Police Chief Brian Calloway.

Chief Calloway says the pursuit started when an Officer noticed a car with “bad tags” on Route 13. The driver of the suspect car apparently didn’t stop, when the Officer tried to pull it over. After a short time, Calloway says the chase was discontinued.

The Chief tells 47 ABC that authorities will run the tags, but that they have to try and determine who was driving the car. They say they will also search for the car that matched the description.
