Three charged following large fight in Pocomoke

Three people were arrested in Pocomoke on Sunday, after they apparently refused to leave the scene of a large fight.

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office says around 12:20 AM, Deputies responded to reports of a fight in progress at the Pocomoke Elks Lodge, in Pocomoke. Once on scene, Deputies say they found 30-40 people fighting, and throwing bottles, and was continuing to escalate.

Officials say they called in backup law enforcement from around the area, and were able get control of the scene. Investigators say there were several people who refused to leave the scene, even after being told to do so numerous times.

Shawn Patrick Ennis, 40, of Pocomoke City, and Sherry Lynn Mullican, 33, of Westover, were each charged with trespassing, while Stephanie Sue Mullican, 28, of Salisbury, was charged with disorderly conduct, and fail to obey lawful order of peace officer.

After being charged, all three were released pending trial.
