Suspect wanted in connection with Dover shooting

Police in Dover say they are searching for a suspect in connection to an overnight shooting, that left one man injured.
Dover Police say around 12:50 AM on Thursday, near the intersection of Boggs Drive and Nimitz Road, a 24-year-old man met with 19-year-old Jaymere Lewis, of Dover. The two apparently argued, during which Police say Lewis fired one shot at the victim, hitting him in the leg. The victim was reportedly treated at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital for the injury.
Police say Lewis is now wanted on assault first degree, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony charges.
