Salisbury softball doubles up New Paltz

The Salisbury University softball team won their eighth game in a row, defeating New Paltz State 9-2 in the second game on Saturday’s doubleheader.
Brooke Mizelle went 6 and 1/3 innings, gave up just five hits, and struck out 8 batters earning her 6th win of the season. Offensively, Paige Knussman went 2-4, including a two run homer, Annah Brittingham went 4-5, knocking in 2 RBIs. Kim Dorsey and Molly Simpson scored two runs a piece as the Gulls moved to 10-3 on the season.
The Gulls host Lynchburg in a double header set for Sunday afternoon, first pitch is set for 12 p.m.
