Rt. 50 re-surfacing project underway between Willards and Parsonsburg

The State Highway Administration says drivers can expect delays between Willards and Parsonsburg on Rt. 50 Westbound.  The re-surfacing will be taking place from 7AM – 7PM.

A spokesperson for the SHA says that the project cost about $2 million, and unlike previous re-surfacing projects, that only re-paved the existing road.  This project is digging up the surface, giving a new base for drivers on the road.

The SHA says weather-permitting, the road should be finished in about a month.
