PGPD: Officer dies following shooting

Prince George’s Police say officer Jacai Colson, 28, died after being attacked while on-duty. They have two suspects in custody after a Colson, a four year vet, and another person were wounded in a shooting.

The officer involved shooting apparently happened this afternoon outside of the Landover Police station. Shortly afterward, police warned on twitter of a possible active shooter situation.

Both Colson and the other victim were taken to Prince George’s Hospital Center.

The department said via twitter that Colson would’ve turned 29 this week. They will be releasing more on their twitter page.
