One Ohio fugitive arrested in Willards in connection to drug case

A wanted Ohio woman is now facing charges in Wicomico County, after Police say she was she has connections to  a possession of cocaine case.

On Tuesday around 7:30 AM, authorities say, a deputy arrested Sandra Elliott at a house in Willards, on an outstanding arrest warrant from the State of Ohio.

Authorities in that state say Elliott was wanted in connection with a possession of cocaine case.

Additionally, Elliot has been charged as a fugitive from Ohio, in Wicomico County.

Records say, Elliott was transported to the central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner.

Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Elliott without bond in the Detention Center pending extradition back to Ohio.
