One injured in Camden-Wyoming house fire

A Camden-Wyoming house fire that injured one person on Thursday, has been ruled accidental.

The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal says the fire broke our just before 9:00 AM at a home on Bison Road. The Camden Wyoming Fire Company reportedly responded to the scene. Investigators say the fire started started on the stove top and spread causing heavy damage to the dwelling.

A 47-year-old man was taken to the Kent General Hospital, as he was suffering from smoke inhalation. The man is apparently undergoing treatment, and is listed in stable condition.

State fire investigators say they have ruled that the fire was accidental. Damages to the home are estimated at $100,000.  There reportedly were smoke alarms in the home.
