Ocean City holds 35th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It was unofficially Saint Patrick’s day Saturday in Ocean City, Md. as people lined the streets for the 35th annual Saint Patrick’s day parade.

Ocean City police estimated roughly 140,000 people came out to see the event sponsored the Delmarva Irish American’s Club.

The parade was complete with appearances from public officials such as Sen. Jim Mathias.

“It’s just a big day for the town. It’s the unofficial, official kick off to the season and people get cabin fever and they’re out here to have a good time,” Buck Mann, Delmarva Irish-American Club.

We’re told that the turnout for the parade was even better than expected.
