MPSSAA State Wrestling Finals

The MPSSAA State Wrestling Finals were held at the Show Place Arena Saturday night, and four Bayside wrestlers had the chance to compete for the gold. This tournament started Friday morning, and lasted until Saturday night with wrestlers from all over Maryland competing. It was split up between 2A/1A and 4A/3A. 

In the Bayside, we had all four wrestlers go home with the silver. 

In the 2A/1A-

113: Mardela’s Nasir Tucker loses to South Carroll’s Joey Thomas by Major Decision, 13-4. 

132: Kent Island’s Justin Thomas loses via fall to Middletown’s Danny Bertoni in 2:47. 

182: North Caroline’s Alex Eaton loses to Williamsport’s Kobe Baker, 2-1. 

In the 4A/3A- 

132: Stephen Decatur’s Andrew McKahan loses to Centennial’s Jason Kraisser, 8-3.
