Mar. 14 – Empty Bowl Soup Dinner

The Art League of Ocean City and Diakonia will help fight hunger as they host the Empty Bowl Soup Dinner at the Ocean City Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 21, from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and this includes soup, bread, dessert and a ceramic soup bowl, handcrafted by volunteers at the arts center. Seating is continuous from 5-8 p.m., and reservations are not required.

Five local restaurants will provide the soup and desserts: Fager’s Island/Atlantic Hotel, Pickles Pub, Liquid Assets, BJs on the Water, and Bull on the Beach.
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Diakonia, a local nonprofit who help individuals and families in Worcester County and the Lower Shore.

There will be silent and Chinese auctions and prizes will include gift certificates to local businesses and pieces of art donated by the community.
