Late Runs Lifts Sabres Past Parkside

The Saints Peter and Paul boys lacrosse team made the trip to Salisbury on Tuesday and picked up a 10-8 win over Parkside. The win improves the Sabres to 3-2, while the loss drops the Rams to 1-1.
The Rams would jump out to a quick lead after getting a couple scores from Jakob Keidel. The Sabres would fire right back though as Will Lipscomb was able to find the back of the net. The Rams would continue to find success as they would take a 5-3 after the first after Jacob Brown was able to add a score as well. The Sabres would make a change in goal, and it would pay off as the defense played much better from there on out. Saints Peter and Paul would begin to fight back, adding scores again from Lipscomb as well as from Luke Harrington. Still, the Rams would add a goal with 6 seconds left in the half by Brown to take a 6-5 lead into the break. The Sabres though would score twice in the final 25 seconds of the quarter to take a 1 goal lead into the 4th. There they would hold onto their 1 goal lead and play keep away before adding a score late to put it away.
Saints Peter and Paul returns to action on April 4th when they travel to play St. Mary’s Annapolis, while the Rams host Cambridge on Thursday.
