Information sought in Salisbury City Park daytime robbery

Police in Salisbury say they are looking for a robbery suspect, who apparently accosted a person, and stole their cell phone, in a local park.
Salisbury Police say on Monday afternoon around 12:30 PM, Officers responded to the City Park, for reports of a robbery. Once on scene, Police say they met with a 45-year-old woman, who said that she was walking on the gravel path in the park, near the bandstand, while talking on her cell phone. According to the report, a man came up behind her, grabbed her in a “bear hug” type hold, before throwing her to the ground, and running away with her cell phone.
The victim was apparently not injured in the incident. Salisbury Police say Officers and Investigators have since been canvassing the area mid-day, looking for witnesses who may have been at the park during the incident. Officers have apparently been doing extra patrols in, and around the park, in hopes to prevent more occurrences from happening.
Police say this type of incident is rare in the city park, and Detectives are continuing to investigate, and identify the suspect. Police describe the perpetrator as a man, about 18-years-old, standing 6′ 1″ tall, weighing 170 pounds, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, dark colored shoes, with a large amount of acne on his face.
