Hogan’s budget moving quickly through legislature

Gov. Larry Hogan’s $42 billion budget is now in it’s final stages before being approved.
A much quicker pace than last year, when the budget didn’t get approved until the final day of session.
Del. Carl Anderton Jr. (R – D38-B)) tells 47 ABC that both the senate and the house have passed their version of the budget, and it’s now in the conference committee. A committee that is comprised of both senators and delegates.
We’re told the committee has settled more than half of their differences on the budget this past week.
Anderton says so far, he has been pleased with what he has seen in the budget.
“Well it’s very close to the governor’s budget, you know the governor submitted a very good budget. It’s the second year with no tax increases in the budget, I mean that’s huge for us,” Anderton said.
Anderton said the final version of the budget could be sent back to both the house and the senate for approval early this week.
