Hebron fire responds to overturned vehicle fire

Two people were apparently able to walkaway on Thursday afternoon, after their car overturned in Wicomico County.

The Hebron Fire Department says on Thursday, around 2:56 PM, Othey were alerted to a motor vehicle crash, with injuries, on Old Railroad Road at Porter Mill Road. While en-route, Officials say they learned that all the occupants got out of the car, and the vehicle was on fire.

Firefighters arrived on scene, and say they found a single vehicle off the roadway, upside down, with light smoke showing. Crews say they were able to contain the small oil feed fire with a dry chem extinguisher, and command was placed under control.

EMS apparently checked for injuries, and obtained two patient refusals. Everything was apparently wrapped up by 3:20 PM.
