Gold alert issued for missing Clayton man

Members of the Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for Michael E.J. Mycek, 60, of Clayton.

Troopers say Mycek hasn’t been seen or heard from since approximately 8:00 p.m. on Friday, after he left his residence.

According to State Police, there is a concern for Mycek’s safety as troopers have been unable to make contact with him to check on his welfare and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Authorities describe Mycek as a white male. He is 6’00” tall, 230 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of Michael Mycek they are asked to call Troop 9 at 302-378-5749.
