Gas prices predicted to rise over next few months

Although we are in the midst of some of the lowest gas prices we’ve seen in years, drivers will notice a price jump over the next few months. A spokesperson for AAA Mid-Atlantic tells 47ABC that rising gas prices at this time of year is typical due to refineries switching over to a more expensive summer blend of oil.
We are also told that demand in general is higher, especially in the summer with more cars on the road. Although the prices have been increasing, this time last year we were paying $.60 per gallon more than now.
