Five accused of selling drugs from Celtic Pub in Smyrna

Five people are facing charges, after Police say they were selling drugs out of a local bar, and serving after last call.
The Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement says the Smyrna Police Department contacted them about drugs were being sold inside of The Celtic Pub, on Jimmy Drive in Smyrna. DATE and Smyrna PD say they then launched a joint investigation, during which an undercover investigation found multiple employees of the Celtic Pub were involved in, and/or had direct knowledge of the sales of marijuana, inside of the business.
A DATE agent was apparently able to make purchases of marijuana from employees, Travis Boutin, 31, of Smyrna and Nicole Blanchfield, 31, of Townsend, while they were working at The Celtic Pub. In addition, Police say a bartender, Amy Anderson, 42, of Smyrna, was seen serving more than one alcoholic beverage after last call as well as after 1:00 AM, in violation of the state’s liquor control act.
On Thursday, DATE agents and Smyrna Police Officers say they searched the bar, and arrested Boutin, Blanchfield and Anderson without incident. Boutin was reportedly found to have $1,031 in cash, which was seized. Investigators say they also searched Travis Boutin’s home on Barley Court in Smyrna.
While inside Boutin’s residence, another tenant, Andrew Spear, 30, of Smyrna, was apparently in possession of marijuana, two loaded handguns, and a switchblade. Spear was then taken into custody. Further investigation reportedly revealed that Nathan Muldowney, 31, of Earleville, Maryland was also involved in marijuana distribution in and around The Celtic Pub. Muldowney, who is unemployed, was arrested at a nearby home, and was found to be in possession of $7,963 in cash, all of which was seized, according to Police.
Boutin and were charged with delivery of a controlled substance, and conspiracy second degree, and released on a $6,000 unsecured bail. Spear was charged with possess firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a switchblade, and released on a $3,750 unsecured bail.
Anderson was charged with conspiracy second degree, sell alcoholic beverages at a time prohibited, and sell alcoholic beverages in violation of last call, and released on a $1,050 unsecured bail.
Blanchfield was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, and released on a $5,000 unsecured bail.
