First Saturday kicks off this weekend

This weekend first Saturday returns to Salisbury. The family event is held the first Saturday of the month starting in March through October. As it was last year, First Saturday is centered outside the government building.

Event coordinators say it was a big hit and they’re expecting it to grow this year. There will be 3 live bands, various vendor booths, and games for kids. 47 ABC spoke with co-chair Ben Rayne and he says, “It is free it is family friendly you know bring your kids out, it’s free during the season too and we just wanted to be able to provide a free event for people that’s family friendly and it has music it’s entertainment and really it’s just a lot of fun.”
