Eight charged during drug investigation in Millsboro

Eight people have been arrested, in connection with slew of complaints about drug sales in a Millsboro mobile home park.
Delaware State Police say on Wednesday around 2:45 PM, Detectives from Sussex County Drug Task Force and Governor's Task Force responded to a home on Sandy Drive in the Riverwinds Mobile Home Park, with a search warrant. Before they were on scene, Investigators say surveillance was run on the property, during which 36-year-old Karl Lazarus, 36 of Millsboro, 21-year-old Deantae Watson, of Lewes, 25-year-old Keon Hopkins, of Millsboro, and 29-year-old Tramar Bailey, of Seaford, were all seen near a silver Ford Expedition conducting drug transactions.
Once on scene, all four were taken into custody, while the home and Ford Expedition were searched. Detectives say they found 77 bags of heroin with a total weight of 1.155 grams, 31.29 grams of marijuana, 6.12 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and over $1,800 in suspected drug proceeds.
Lazarus, Watson, Hopkins, and Bailey were each charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, and conspiracy second degree. Lazarus, Watson, and Hopkins were all ordered to be held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $92,000 secured bonds. Bailey was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence. He is being held at SCI on a $94,000 bond.
Police say in addition to Lazarus, Watson, Hopkins, and Bailey, they found four others on the property, and charged them accordingly.
