Drive-by shooting investigation underway in Cambridge

Police in Cambridge say they are investigating a drive-by shooting, that left one injured.

Cambridge Police say on Tuesday, around 11:15 PM, Officers responded to Park Lane and Rigby Avenue, in reference to a gunshot victim. Once on scene, they spoke with a man who had been shot in the leg.

According to the report, a vehicle had pulled up to the intersection, and that is when he heard the shots, and then realized that he was shot in the leg. Police say the victim could not give any more of a description of the suspects, or the vehicle that was involved.

The victim was apparently rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition, at this time.
