Dorchester Co. man charged in drug investigation

A Church Creek man is facing charges, after Police say he was maintaining a drug property in Dorchester County.
The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says on February 29, members of the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force searched a home on Church Creek Road, with a warrant. Investigators say they did not find 26-year-old Walter Reynolds, the target of the investigation, at the house, but were able to locate him nearby.
During the search, the Sheriff’s Office says they found and seized 9 firearms, $588 in cash, 2 digital scales, 1 ledger, a 1999 Chevrolet pick-up truck, Samsung digital recorder, and 360 grams of marijuana.
After his arrest, Reynolds was charged with maintaining a common nuisance by distributing CDS, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. He was then ordered to be held on a $5,500 bond at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
Task Force members were apparently assisted by members of the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit/East and the Dorchester County State’s Attorney’s Office.
