Delmar School District on high alert over reported suspicious person

Delmar School District announced on their website on Wednesday, that they were on a heightened alert.

The school district says just after 10:00 AM, there were notified by local law enforcement that there was a security concern in the Delmar community.

This apparently prompted Officials at both Delmar Middle and Delmar High School to be on heightened alert. This means that all classes and internal activities within the building are remaining as scheduled, and no students or staff are to be outside of the building.

Delmar Police tell 47 ABC that they are investigating a suspicious person driving through town. Details are limited, we’ll bring more as it becomes available.
