Death investigation underway after man found dead on Port Mahon Pier in Dover

Troopers say they are investigating a death in Dover, after a man was found on the Port Mahon Pier.

Delaware State Police say on Wednesday afternoon around 12:40 PM, Troopers responded to Port Mahon Road, on the Port Mahon Pier, in Dover, for reports of an unresponsive man sitting on the pier.

Once on scene, Troopers say the unidentified person was pronounced dead, and Detectives were contacted.

At this time, Investigators say the investigation into the death of the man is in its early stages. Details are limited, we’ll bring more information as it becomes available.
