Crabbers Finish Strong In Win Over Washington

The Crisfield baseball team gutted out a win in their second game of the Washington Tournament on Saturday, when they defeated the host Jaguars 10-4. The win improves the Crabbers to 1-2, while the Jaguars fall to 0-3.
Washington would grab an early lead after Eric Logan sent an RBI sac fly to center to score Jimmy Mansfield. Shortly after that, Riley Horner ripped a shot to short who wasn’t sure where to go with it. The runners would all advance, scoring another run. But the Crabbers would settle down from there and take over. After stringing together a few hits, Mike Somers would get into one for an RBI single. That was followed up by a RBI double down the first baseline by Ben Daum. The bats remained hot from there as they would hold on for the win.
